To ensure that the log side rails will stand straight and true, they are made up of 2 inch strips of knotty Ponderosa pine and laminated together and hand drawknifed into a massive log shape. It has structural strength and yet beauty and character for a log look. The Red Cedar Ponderosa comes in 7 or 8 foot in length and two different finishes.
